A small local business nestled in the heart of Addlestone, Surrey. Founded by me, Jemma, your dedicated resident massage therapist, who is committed to helping you embrace the importance of self-care and wellbeing.
Hey! I’m Jemma, your local massage therapist.
A wellbeing advocate, I’ve learnt firsthand the critical need for self-care. As a fitness enthusiast, with a passion for the outdoors and sports (mountain biking and aerial fitness to name two) I understand the toll physical activity can take on your body, and the consequences of ignoring it! My journey through injuries and the costs of not prioritising self-care has fuelled my mission to help others avoid the same pitfalls.
But it doesn’t stop there! Having spent years in corporate jobs, where sitting all day is the norm, I understand the stresses that come from long days sat at a desk.
This dual perspective enables me to address a wide range of client needs, from relieving muscle strain to reducing the stress caused by a sedentary lifestyle.
Qualifications
I hold the following qualifications:
- iTEC* Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage
- FHT accredited Diploma in Pregnancy Massage
- Assisted Stretch Level 1
- Science of Stretch Coaching
- OMT Kinesiology Taping
- OMT Cupping
- Active IQ Personal Trainer & Group Exercise Level 3
- Active IQ Exercise Referral Level 3
I’m continually learning and adding to my skills, so sign up for notifications of new services (and qualifications) as they become available.
If that wasn’t enough, I am also a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapies), the largest professional body for complementary, beauty and sports therapists and the first international organisation of its kind.
It holds its members to the highest professional standards, supporting them with essential therapist
information and accredited professional development opportunities.
